Internal Medicine Physician – Augusta, GA – Outpatient VAWe are recruiting a Board Certified or Board Eligible Internal Medicine physician for a full-time outpatient opportunity with the VA in Augusta, Georgia. This position offers a predictable weekday schedule and a collaborative care environment serving the veteran population.Schedule- Monday–Friday- 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM- 42.5 hours per week- No weekendsPractice Setting- Outpatient primary care- Preventive care and chronic disease management- Acute care visits as needed- Collaborative team model with specialists, pharmacists, and social workers- Telehealth and in-person patient careResponsibilities- Provide comprehensive primary care to veteran patients- Manage chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and COPD- Perform preventive screenings and health maintenance visits- Coordinate care with specialists and multidisciplinary care teams- Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical recordRequirements- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine- Active and unrestricted medical license in any U.S. state- Minimum 2 years of experience preferredSendoc Locums Covers- Paid malpractice insuranceLocationAugusta, Georgia – VA Medical CenterIf you are interested in learning more about this opportunity, please apply or contact Nick with Sendoc Locums for additional details.
