Oncologist – Richmond, INOncology opportunity in Richmond, Indiana, providing a mix of outpatient clinic coverage and hospital call. The physician will manage an adult oncology patient population with an established clinical team, including four NPs, and hospitalist support for admissions. - Monday–Thursday, 8a–5p and Friday, 8a–4p - Four clinic shifts per week - Approximately 18–20 clinic patients per day - Adult patient population - 80% outpatient clinic and 20% hospital-based care - Primary call 2–3 weekends per month - Weekend call runs Friday 7a–Monday 7a - Hospital consults and rounding while on call as needed - Hospital census averages approximately 10–12 patients - Hospitalist team supports admissions - Four NPs provide clinical support - No supervision of support staff required - EPIC EMR - Level III trauma and Level III stroke setting - Bone marrow biopsy/aspiration, lumbar puncture, paracentesis, thoracentesis, and venous access management may be performed if the physician is comfortable; most patients are sent to IR for these procedures Sendoc Locums Covers:- Paid malpractice - Paid travel - Paid lodgingCall/text us at (561) 935-5129 if you're available to pick up shifts or would like more details.
